Peace through loving hands & hearts
Our Haven memory care unit provides support and unlimited care to residents and their families coping with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In a private apartment home within The Haven, residents enjoy both privacy and being with others living there as they choose. Common living and dining spaces provide a warm atmosphere to gather in the small setting of six apartments. Couples can stay together if they choose and families can easily drop in for a visit. During this time of change The Haven care will adapt with each resident. We will work with hospice as the end of life draws near. Through all the changes our mission remains the same: To bring peace through the care of loving hands and hearts.
Security & Safety
Haven will be secured with an easy to use entrance and exit system. This makes it easy for visitors to enter and yet secure for tenants safety.

RN Supervision: Routine RN care review is not required for CBRF in Wisconsin. However, because we do not turn away even some of the most advanced conditions, The HOMEPLACE does provide RN oversight of CBRF care.
Tenants who receive public assistance subsidies contribute to their care as determined by each agency. On average costs are based on your income and can range from $600 to $800 per month. Get more information from your local agency. Ask us about contract information for your ADRC. |
The Care-Giving Process
Care for residents of Haven involves an ongoing application of Nursing Process. Care commences with a comprehensive assessment of each tenant and their family. In cooperation with family, doctor, and other care providers, goals are established from assessment results. From these goals, a care plan evolves.
Staff
The Haven 24 hour a day care givers meet state requirements established by Chapter 83 of the Wisconsin’s Administrative Code - Department of Health & Family Services. Staff also meet state training requirements and are involved with care conferences. Administrative staff are also available to assist with operational issues like billing and insurance claims. |
